I posted a song from Keeno sometime back and it seemed you guys liked it. This is another of his that has been out that I feel is quite good as well. Accompanied by a nice video which is directed by Aje.
Keeno is a relatively new artiste who recently released his debut album called “The Rebirth” in April 2008 in Port Harcourt. He is currently signed to Eko Beats. In fact, he is the first artiste signed to Eko Beats which is probably a new record label. It is listed on their website that they are looking for artistes and producers. I haven’t had a chance to listen to the album so I cannot comment on the quality. The three tracks that I have listened to give a good pointer on the quality of the album. 1 thing I noticed is he sounds like Timaya with a splash of Akon especially when he climbs high notes. Makes for interesting listening.
So checkout his album which is out on the streets in Nigeria. I have not found it anywhere online but you can be sure once I do, you shall know.

What a video!! Good stuff, he is certainly one to watch out for.
I googled Keeno and checked out his myspace site and record label website http://www.ekobeatsrecords.com (which is vey well designed) and watched videos from his album launch. Though the quality of the videos are’nt that great I think there are videos for almost all the songs in the album.
Mr Starks, I also noticed that you made a mistake in naming his songs. The song “Naija Sorry” on your blog is actually “No Be So” and the song titled “No Be So” on your blog is actually “Naija Sorry”

Nice video, good voice, good lyrics. He is certainly unique and his lyrics make plenty of sense. Kinda dancehall’s version of Eminem. Saw the video on Soundcity and AM Express today.
