It would seem, this totally went under my nose. So it seems Santogold is no longer Santogold but Santigold thanks to a silly lawsuit from some boring hater who claims he is the real Santogold and like every shameless person does naturally, he has decided to attempt a career relaunch and other types of piggy backing activity you would expect like release. But hey, we must still respect his boring right to a name if he indeed owns it. I found this out as I was trying to find Santigold on myspace to find out when next she would be in London. Santogold,…err now Santigold born Santi White changed the name sometime in February. Santigold does not sound half bad. Besides, if she was born Santi White, then I would say Santigold sounds like a nice moniker. So like Santigold (see I am already used to it) said in her press release…

“Change the graffiti on the bathroom wall, get your tattoo fixed, get your T-shirt airbrushed and change the name on your year-end list,…Santogold is now Santigold“
