Time and time again, these “funky” tunes drop and we, well, just roll our eyes and skank. I mean really regardless how overdone the whole funky house tune thing is, I still cannot help but move. I guess hang tyt me for continuing to skank even as the over diluted funky keep pouring in. Here is one more to add to the list. This one gets a pass for the major lazer beat mash towards the end. The key to a successful funky tune is the ending has to be like an American Independence Day fireworks shoe. You have to go out with a bang and sonically that bang does not come better than Major Lazer’s Pon De floor. Hang tyt.
