If this album sells wood, I shall LOSE MY HOPE IN HIP HOP. I spent 20 minutes trying to explain the concept of day n’ nite to someone who thought the song was crap and had only a catchy beat i.e. the remix beat. Made me sad and mad. My RSS blinks, its 00.08. I decide to run my mouse over it and it is a notification of a new post on Cudi’s blog. I decide to check it out to see what the Cudder had to say. Quite a few things actually setting the record straight on his supposed “beef” with Andre 3k. Anyway, what stood out was this little excerpt down below and I though i’d share it with you folks.

You guys remember I posted some videos of Little Boots playing her keyboard and the funky music tool (the name which I cannot remember right now) in her room. In this video (also in her room I suppose), she delivers a certain type of interpretation of Kid Cudi’s hit single. I find it weird but it sounds like a grower – thats if you don’t immediately dislike it at first… I see a collaboration between the two as inevitable, they have no excuse (twitter guys??) What do you think?

Just thought I would throw this up because this Kid named Cudi (look Ma, word play) is one of the interesting characters emerging from this new school of hip hop. Besides this track “Welcome to heartbreak” is one of the hot tracks on Kanye’s “808s & Heartbreak” album. So lines like…

My friend showing me pictures of his kids/ and all I could show him was picture of my cribs/he said his daughter got a brand new report card/ and all I got was a brand new sports car…Kanye West – Welcome to heartbreak feat. Kid Cudi

You cannot help but feel Mr West’s pain. I believe he just might be tired of these supermodels.
