Gunplay signed to Def Jam

So I was just telling my guys to actually listen to Gunplay, as all I listen to right now is the Bogota Rich mixtape. I am really happy to hear that he has signed a deal with Def Jam. Call him an ignorant rapper if you will but he is one interesting rapper and is not a fluke. He has always been a character right from the get go of seeing him with Rozay. He is that rapper that brings energy to the song a la Busta did before…I can’t say it, Busta remains a legend. Now Gunplay is not everyone’s taste but if you like your rap entertaining then you should be listening to Gunplay. His Bogota mixtape will be out very soon and you know I shall be posting that. Till then, it is Bogota Rich on spin. Cartoon and Cereal.

I am pretty sure I was not the only person who saw the tracklist of Ross’s upcoming “Teflon Don” album and thought “Fuck me”. A pretty strong tracklist and serious features. Not one to be sold on album features, but Rick Ross’s album features have always been strong. “Maybach Music” with Jay Z, Usual Suspects with Nas, the examples span his three album deep discography. And that does not include his mixtape projects. The point is Rick Ross features have constants delivered and I don’t expect Teflon Don to disappoint. More of that Maybach riding music. The new single from Rick Ross’s upcoming album, Teflon Don. Say what you like about Ricky, he does know how to pick excellent beats which complement his flow. The production on the song is tight. For some reason I feel a woman’s voice would have been more suited for the hook although Ne-Yo does his thing. Its just a nagging thought.
